Dengo, a renowned Brazilian bean-to-bar chocolate brand, announces the installation of a new factory in Itapecerica da Serra, in Greater São Paulo. The unit, expected to start operations in May 2025, represents an investment of R$ 100 million and promises to generate around 100 direct jobs in the first year, with the potential to reach 200 jobs in the following years.
Why Will the Factory Be Installed in Itapecerica?
The choice of Itapecerica da Serra as the site for Dengo’s new factory was due to several reasons, among which stand out the proximity to the consumer market, the robust infrastructure of the region, and the availability of a property with over 19,000 m² in the Potuverá neighborhood.
This new structure will allow the company to quintuple its production capacity compared to the current plant, located in the Santo Amaro neighborhood in the capital.
