Caoa Chery Introduced the Tiggo 7 Plug-in Hybrid, a Mid-Size SUV That Promises to Shake Up the Hybrid Segment in Brazil. The new Caoa Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV comes equipped with a 1.5 turbo engine producing 147 hp, which works alongside two electric motors that add up to 170 hp. The result is a total of 317 hp and a torque of 56.6 kgfm. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurs in just 6.8 seconds, a very competitive time in the segment.
In addition to Performance, the Tiggo 7 PHEV stands out for its fuel economy. According to the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV), the SUV delivers a consumption of 36.9 km/l in the city and 30.2 km/l on the highway. To improve the range, the fuel tank was increased to 60 liters, and the 19.3 kWh battery ensures up to 63 km of driving in electric mode.
