Report Released Indicates That In 3 Years Solar And Wind Energy And Nuclear Generation Will Replace Coal In The Electric Matrix.
According to a recent report from the International Energy Agency (IEA), renewable energies will account for 37% of global electricity generation by 2026. The document points out that the share of these sources in the electric matrix should increase from 30% in 2023 to 37% in 2026, mainly driven by the growth of solar photovoltaic energy, which is becoming more accessible.
The report also highlights that, in addition to solar energy, clean energies such as nuclear, wind, and hydropower will be essential to achieve this goal. Investing in sustainable energy sources is crucial to ensure a cleaner future and promote green energy on a global scale.
Report Released By The IEA Highlights Growth Of Renewable Energies
The agency also claims that the rapid growth of renewable energies, supported by the increase in nuclear generation, should replace coal in the next three years.

The United States spent US$ 15 billion to excavate 8 km of tunnels inside a mountain in the Nevada desert — the world’s safest nuclear waste repository was ready, but never received a single barrel of waste.
The IEA presents ambitious forecasts for Brazil. According to the agency, renewable sources will be responsible for 95% of the Brazilian electric matrix in 2026.
The report emphasizes solar and wind energies.
Renewable Energies And The Future Of The Brazilian Energy Matrix
‘By 2026, we expect that most of the new electricity demand in Brazil will be met by wind and solar photovoltaic energy. In our forecast, the combined generation of wind and solar photovoltaic energy in 2026 will be nearly 50% higher than in 2022′, concluded the document.
