The Event Will Feature Participation from Market Specialists, Academics, and Specialized Consultancies
Ocyan is holding the third edition of Innovation Day this Tuesday (15), an event that opens up space for discussions on topics driving the innovation market in the oil and gas, and energy sectors. Innovation Day will take place at Inovateca, in the Technology Park of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), and the public will be able to follow the activities on Ocyan’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@ocyansa).
“We are on our way to the third edition of Innovation Day, which shows that the market has embraced our initiative. Addressing innovation in the oil and gas market is essential for the challenges that lie ahead in the coming years, such as new energy projects and decarbonization. Having the opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge is very enriching for everyone,” celebrates Patrícia Grabowsky, executive manager of innovation and digital transformation at Ocyan.
The event begins with in-person conversations for invited guests, featuring round tables led by representatives from companies such as Petrobras, Repsol Sinopec, Valetec, and Ocyan. Among the topics that will be addressed are: best practices for securing funding for innovation; processes and metrics; deeptech; intrapreneurship; and the role of hydrogen in the energy transition.

In the afternoon, three “Specialist Meetings” will be held, covering topics such as: “Technological Innovation as a Driver of Energy Evolution”; “Strategic Governance of Innovation in Large Corporations”; and “Corporate Venture Building: Accelerating Corporate Growth from the Inside Out.” The panels will feature guests from ABEEólica (Brazilian Wind Energy Association and New Technologies); Abiogás (Brazilian Gas Association); Innoscience; Copa Energia; Eletrobras; Oxygea; Braskem, and Ocyan.
