This project, pioneering in the country and Latin America, aims to create autonomous surface vessels, providing more versatility and safety in operational environments of the naval industry.
The contract between the two companies includes the design and construction of Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), known as SUPPRESSOR.
The first vessel will be 7 meters long, constructed from naval aluminum, powered by diesel propulsion, and equipped with navigation sensors, multibeam sonar, and Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV).
First Vessel of the EMGEPRON and TideWise Project Will Be Delivered in 2023
With an estimated budget of 20 million reais, the completion of the first vessel from EMGEPRON and TideWise is expected by the end of 2025.
The project aims to meet specific demands of operators in the naval industry, prioritizing the control and security of communications.
The ultimate goal is to strengthen the national Defense and Security Sector, providing capability for naval mine warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and surveillance in maritime, coastal, and riverine waters.
