Processing 72% of Oil from the Pre-Salt Results in Historic Production of Gasoline and Diesel S10, Boosting Petrobras Sales
In June, Petrobras, the leading company in the oil sector, achieved impressive numbers in its production of gasoline and diesel S10. Additionally, the company recorded a historic milestone by processing 72% of the oil from the pre-salt. These positive results reflect the state-owned company’s commitment to efficiently and sustainably meet the demands of the national market.
Sales Growth Boosts Petrobras Performance
Thanks to record production levels achieved, Petrobras was able to meet the increased sales in June compared to the same period last year.
The numbers reveal a 26% growth in gasoline sales, 2.9% in diesel S10, and 5.7% in aviation kerosene.

These positive results are fundamental for consolidating Petrobras as a leader in the national fuel market.
The record production of gasoline and diesel S10 was crucial to meet the growing demand from consumers.
In terms of gasoline, 2.01 billion liters were produced, representing the best result since 2014.
For diesel S10 production, the volume reached 2.11 billion liters, surpassing the previous record set in May of this year.
Furthermore, it is important to highlight that the Total Utilization Factor (FUT) of Petrobras’ refineries reached 93% in the second quarter, the best result since 2015.
The FUT considers the volume of crude oil processed, as well as the operational availability of a refinery, while respecting the equipment design limits, safety regulations, and finally, the quality of the derivatives produced.
This high performance demonstrates Petrobras’ commitment to ensuring reliability, operational availability, and profitability of its units.
Refining Investments Show That the State-Owned Company is on the Right Track
“The reliability of the operations of the company’s refining plants, along with the competence of our teams, from production planning to execution, combined with the efficiency of logistics and commercial operations, allowed us to reach this elevated level in processing, production, and utilization of the refineries,” revealed William França, Director of Industrial Processes and Products at Petrobras.
Such results demonstrate not only the increase in sales in the domestic market but also the successful strategy followed by Petrobras in making investments in refining.
Thus, the company ensures that it meets its commercial commitments with efficiency, reliability, and profitability.
With its record production of gasoline and diesel S10, Petrobras strengthens its position in the national fuel market, reaffirming its leadership and commitment to consumer satisfaction and pursuit of operational excellence.
