Portobello, which holds significant relevance in the Santa Catarina economy, will now benefit from direct supply from the state-owned company, strengthening its energy matrix with a secure and efficient source.
“We are in the process of expanding and consolidating our customer portfolio in the free natural gas market. The new contracts that have been signed, like this one, with Petrobras entering as a supplier in a new sector, show that we are on the right path,” stated Álvaro Tupiassu, Executive Manager of Gas and Energy at Petrobras.
Billion-Dollar Investments to Meet Industrial Demand
Petrobras’ strategy is supported by investments exceeding US$ 7 billion in new infrastructures for natural gas distribution.
These resources are also being applied to the development of a diversified portfolio of contracts, with terms and conditions adaptable to the specific needs of its clients.
The goal is to offer flexible solutions that meet the different demands of the industrial market with reliability and cost-effectiveness.
