Petrobras announced the signing of new natural gas contracts with the Gas Distribution Company of Rio de Janeiro (CEG) and CEG RIO S.A. (CEG RIO), effective from 12/01/2023, following the fulfillment of agreed conditions after resolving legal disputes.
These new contracts aim to supply natural gas to CEG and CEG RIO, focusing on supplying the Rio de Janeiro market, and received the participation and approval of the State of Rio de Janeiro. This partnership is crucial to ensure the regularity of natural gas supply to meet the region’s demands.
