The Year 2020 Promises, Petrobras Reveals This Monday, 25, Its Plan to Drill Seven to Eight Exploratory Oil Wells.

Petrobras has plans for next year to drill seven to eight exploratory oil wells, the state-owned company reported that the vast majority will be part of the pre-salt — its main investment focus at the moment. Jobs Ahead! At Least Five Shipyards Will Build the Next FPSOs in the Libra Area and the Pre-Salt of the Santos Basin, and Brasfels Will Be One of Them!

The announcement occurred on this day, November 25, by the director of Exploration and Production of the state-owned company, Carlos Alberto de Oliveira.

The state-owned company will provide more details and information to investors at the end of this year, after the publication of its five-year business plan.

Carlos Alberto also hinted at an event of the state-owned Pré-Sal Petróleo SA (PPSA), about a company plan to completely eliminate the exploratory phase of its oil and gas areas, and stated that there is nothing like it ever done in the global oil industry.

28 New FPSOs Will Be Installed From 2021 to 2030

According to Pré-Sal Petróleo SA (PPSA), 28 new FPSOs will be installed from 2021 to 2030, to meet the development of the contracted reserves under the production sharing model. Revenue could reach R$ 1 trillion by 2032.
