About the Salaries of the Offered Positions in SP
The salaries for the positions proposed by Contrata São Paulo range from R$1,707 to R$ 2,990. In some of these job openings, salaries will be negotiated directly with the hiring company.
Among the job openings provided by the São Paulo City Hall, 20 positions are for masons, carpenters, and plumbers, with a salary of R$ 2,091. Candidates can be currently enrolled in elementary education. There are also 20 vacancies for construction helpers with experience, requiring completed elementary education, and salaries are R$ 1,707.
There are 10 positions for reinforcement workers with a salary of R$ 2,091. For these positions, at least six months of experience with verification in the work card and incomplete elementary education will be required.
As drivers, there will be 40 openings, requiring completed elementary education and a Category E driver’s license. Additionally, there are 20 vacancies for excavator and backhoe operators with experience, as well as 15 positions for tunnel attendants.
In specific knowledge positions, there are 15 vacancies for cutting head supervisors. The São Paulo City Hall also has vacancies for crane operators, drilling machine operators, injectors, concrete pump operators, graders, signalers, among others.
Estimates for the Construction Sector in 2021
According to projections from the Construction Industry Union (Sinduscon-SP), in partnership with FGV, the GDP in the construction sector is expected to grow by 3.8% in 2021, a significant recovery compared to the previous year, which ended with a 2.5% decline.
This year, the expectation is that the construction GDP will grow due to the performance of business works, which, due to the opening of new sites, will see an increase of 4.1%. Additionally, another component will be household consumption in retail for home renovations and construction, which is expected to grow by 3.5% this year.
