Registrations Open for Young Talents in Navigation Course by the City of Rio de Janeiro
Young professionals who wish to enter the navigation field, your time has come! The City Hall of Rio de Janeiro has opened registrations for the Young Talents in Navigation course, in the maritime area, for young people between 18 and 23 years old. The Municipal Department of Development, Employment, and Innovation will open registrations for 25 vacancies in the Young Talents in Navigation course, offered by the Instituto Mar e Portos (Imapor). This is a training course in the maritime area, focusing on employability. In addition to acquiring knowledge, young people will be prepared to work as a team, with ethics and responsibility.

Candidates will be subjected to a selection test on February 18, at 2:30 PM, when they must present an identification document. Only approved students will be able to effectively enroll in the course.
Classes will begin on March 9 and will be held from Monday to Thursday, from 6 PM to 9 PM, at the headquarters of the Maritime Shipping Agencies and Related Activities Union of the State of Rio de Janeiro (SindaRio), located at Conselheiro Saraiva Street, No. 28, 3rd floor – Downtown.
Maritime Agency and Ship Visitors, Foreign Trade, Logistic Costs in Foreign Trade, Customs Clearance, Offshore Maritime Support, Chartering, Losses and Damages in Cargo, Environmental Management at Sea and Ports will be some of the topics taught during the 459 hours of the course.
In addition, students will have lectures in areas of interest related to Maritime Navigation, dynamic classes with evaluations (case studies) at the end of each module, and guided visits.
