The Department of Economic Development, Labor, and Income of the Federal District (Sedet) brings excellent news for those seeking improvement: the RenovaDF program is offering 1,400 slots in free professional qualification courses. With registrations open until February 18, this is a valuable opportunity for residents of the Federal District who wish to qualify in various areas of civil construction. The courses cover specializations such as carpentry, gardening, electricity, plumbing, metalworking, and masonry.

Course Structure and Benefits

The free courses in the civil construction area will have a total duration of 240 hours, divided into three modules of 80 hours each. Designed to be concise and effective, the courses promise to provide solid and practical training, with up to 20 hours of learning per week. In addition to technical knowledge, participants will receive additional benefits, such as transportation assistance and personal accident insurance.

At the end of the course, an authenticated certificate will be provided by the qualifying entity and by Sedet, conferring official recognition of the acquired skills. Activities are expected to start on March 5.

Requirements for Registration and Selection Process

To enroll, candidates must meet a few basic requirements: be a natural or naturalized Brazilian, be over 18 years old, be unemployed, and reside in the Federal District. It is important to note that pregnant women, individuals with mobility restrictions, and former participants of the RenovaDF program are not eligible for these courses.

The selection of candidates will occur in two stages. The first consists of analyzing the socioeconomic conditions of the applicants. In case of a tie, an electronic raffle will be conducted to determine the selected candidates. The results will be announced on the website starting February 19.

Registration:

To register, interested parties must fill out a pre-registration form available on the Sedet website. After the results are announced, selected candidates must go to the worker assistance agencies between February 19 and 23 to present the necessary documents. It is worth noting that failure to appear will result in disqualification, allowing candidates from the reserve list the opportunity.
