This Friday (19), registrations began for 60 free professional qualification courses offered by the National Commercial Learning Service (Senac). In total, there are 4,329 spots, with classes starting in early January of next year. Among the sectors offering free courses at Senac DF are health, information technology, administration, beauty, and gastronomy. Registrations must be completed online by the 28th of this month, or until the offered spots are filled.

According to Karine Câmara, Regional Director of Senac-DF, the goal is to serve the largest number of people so they can obtain professional qualifications and strengthen the city’s job market, which is going through a recovery phase after months of difficulties.

To Compete For The Free Professional Qualification Courses At Senac DF, Students Must Meet The Following Requirements:

• Meet the educational requirements for the desired course;
• Have a family income per capita of a maximum of two minimum wages;
• Not have withdrawn or dropped out of other free PSG courses within one year of the date of withdrawal or dropout;
• Have a valid individual email;
• Have knowledge of internet navigation;
• Have access to a computer with broadband internet.

The classes, which will begin in the second week of January next year, will be offered in-person. However, according to Senac DF, as long as there is a need to use preventive measures against Covid-19, some activities will be conducted with the support of technological resources or with flexible hybrid activities.

Senac DF states that student attendance on the first day of class is mandatory to guarantee enrollment in PSG. In case of impediment, the student must justify the absence with a formal process, considering the reasons supported by the School Regulation of Senac-DF.
