In a Bold Step to Strengthen Its Ranks with New Talents, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) Announced the Opening of Registrations for the 2nd Class of the Non-Commissioned Officer Training Course of the Aeronautics.

With an entry forecast for June 2025, the initiative offers 198 spots for young people between 17 and 24 years old, with complete high school education.

The opportunities are for the School of Aeronautical Specialists (EEAR), located in Guaratinguetá, interior of São Paulo.

The registrations, which must be completed by 3 PM on July 24, 2024, can be made through the official website: www.ingresso.eear.fab.mil.br. The registration fee is R$ 95.00.

Who Can Apply?

Men and women aged between 17 and 24 years and who have completed high school by December 1, 2024, can participate in the selection process. In total, 198 spots are available, distributed across various specialties:

  • Communications (BCO): 24 spots (19 open competition, 5 reserved)
  • Electricity and Instruments (BEI): 20 spots (16 open competition, 4 reserved)
  • Structure and Painting (BEP): 13 spots (10 open competition, 3 reserved)
  • Photo Intelligence (BFT): 5 spots (4 open competition, 1 reserved)
  • Aircraft Mechanics (BMA): 30 spots (24 open competition, 6 reserved)
  • Meteorology (BMT): 6 spots (5 open competition, 1 reserved)
  • Supply (BSP): 28 spots (22 open competition, 6 reserved)
  • Drawing (SDE): 3 spots (2 open competition, 1 reserved)
  • Electromechanics (SEM): 4 spots (3 open competition, 1 reserved)
  • Guard and Security (SGS): 15 spots (12 open competition, 3 reserved)
  • Air Traffic Control (BCT): 50 spots (40 open competition, 10 reserved)

Steps of the Selection Process

The selection process for the Non-Commissioned Officer training course of the Aeronautics consists of several rigorous stages, including:

  • Written exams in Portuguese, English, Mathematics, and Physics
  • Health inspection
  • Psychological aptitude exam
  • Physical conditioning assessment test
  • Complementary self-identification procedure
  • Document validation

Qualification and Conclusion in the Aeronautics

The candidates approved in all stages of the selection process must present themselves at EEAR in Guaratinguetá on June 29, 2025, for qualification for enrollment in the course.

The course lasts for two years. After successfully completing it, the students will be promoted to the rank of Third Sergeant.

They will be distributed and classified in one of the Military Organizations of the Air Force Command, according to the needs of the administration.
