Exclusive Classes and Practical Content
Classes will take place on Thursdays, from 7 PM to 9 PM, between 01/09/2025 and 02/27/2025, with 16 hours of workload divided between theoretical and practical content.
During this period, students will learn, among other topics, how to structure paragraphs efficiently, master the use of sentence connectives, and how to build arguments in a clear and objective manner.
Essential topics will be explored for those who want to stand out in academic and professional writing.
According to USP, the goal of the workshop is to provide participants with the experience of creating texts that meet different demands for clarity and conciseness.
Students will have access to a practical methodology, where they will learn to develop writing gradually and with a focus on technical evolution of the written content.
What Will You Learn in the Writing Workshop?
The workshop schedule is carefully structured to ensure efficient learning.
In the first module, the workshop covers text production from constructing a single paragraph to creating more complex texts, divided into multiple paragraphs, with different types of arguments. See how the course is organized:
Class 1: Initial writing.
Class 2: First text constructions – how to build a paragraph with a simple sentence.
Class 3: How to create a paragraph with a compound sentence consisting of two or three clauses, applying a specific semantic connective.
Class 4: Development of a more complex paragraph, using two specific semantic connectives.
Class 5: Refinement of a paragraph with two sentences and two specific semantic connectives.
Class 6: Construction of two paragraphs, with an antagonistic focus, limiting the number of words according to the course proposal.
Class 7: Development of two paragraphs with up to three sentences and selection of arguments, using three sentence connectives.
Class 8: Construction of two paragraphs focusing on the argument and mandatory connective between the paragraphs.
Class 9: Writing with the use of causal connectives and structuring arguments.
Class 10: Refinement of writing skills, focusing on coherence and cohesion between paragraphs.
Each class will be meticulously worked on so that participants evolve in writing and are able to apply the techniques learned effectively.
