New Toyota Car Enters The Brazilian Automotive Market Combining Great Economy And Power. Toyota RAV4 PHEV Is The New Hybrid Of The Japanese On National Soil!

Toyota has decided to launch its first plug-in hybrid model in Brazil, the Toyota RAV4 PHEV, which is already sold in European and North American markets. Although it is not a global novelty, the new Toyota car arrives here as the first from the Japanese manufacturer to feature this technology.

New Toyota RAV4 Delivers Up To 306 Hp Of Power

The only version that reached the national automotive market is the XSE, the top of the line elsewhere in the world. Its plug-in hybrid system allows charging through a socket, just like its direct rivals, BYD Song Plus and GWM Haval H6 PHEV and GT, which even cost much less.

Another competitor of the new Toyota car is the Honda CR-V e-HEV, although, in this case, the very combustion engine serves to charge the batteries. The new Toyota RAV4 has a setup consisting of a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with four cylinders that generates 185 horsepower and 22.8 kgfm of torque, in addition to two electric motors.

New Toyota Car Impresses In Economy

The autonomy of the Toyota RAV4 is 55 km in 100% electric mode, much lower than that of the Haval H6, which runs up to 170 km in this configuration, but close to that of the Song Plus, which goes up to 51 km only on electricity.

What Really Impresses In The New Engine Is The Consumption Of Up To 35 Km/L In The City And 30 Km/L On The Highway, According To Inmetro Evaluation. The new Toyota car is powered exclusively by gasoline, however, the figures drop to 14 km/l in the city and 12.9 km/l on the highway when the electric motors are turned off.

There are four driving modes in the Toyota RAV4 plug-in: Normal, EV (electric), ECO, and Sport. Outside the national market, the Japanese model comes standard with dual-zone digital climate control, remote operation of the trunk lid, a 10.5-inch multimedia center with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, a 12.3-inch onboard computer, a colored Head-up display (projector on windshield), TSS, and electric external rearview mirrors with a heating system to defog.

How Much Does The New Toyota RAV4 PHEV Cost?

The new Toyota car also comes from the factory with safety features such as seven airbags, high beam assistance, automatic high beam, blind spot alert, lane keeping system, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

The model costs R$ 399,990 on the Japanese manufacturer’s list, above the Toyota RAV4 SX HEV version, which has now become the entry-level model and will continue to be sold for R$ 349,290. The brand offers five color options and a 5-year warranty, in addition to a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty for the hybrid/electric system of your new car, whichever comes first.

Com um câmbio que aguenta somente 100.000 km. E não tem concerto, após trancos para de funcionar e o concerto custa 80.000,00 para carro 2015 que vale em torno de 105.000,00
