The Offshore Drilling Company Transocean Added Five Drillship Contracts Since the Last Fleet Status Report in April.

According to the latest fleet status report, Transocean managed to secure a contract for two semi-submersible drilling rigs and three drillships. The contracts added approximately US$ 158 million to the company’s backlog, totaling US$ 11.4 billion. Remember that they still have 2 openings for the Subsea area in Macaé, learn more here.

In Canada, Transocean secured a three-well contract for the Transocean Barents drilling platform. The semi-submersible drilling unit built in 2009 will remain with Suncor until October 2019.
