LG Launched Its Revolutionary Transparent OLED TV, Combining Futuristic Design and Cutting-Edge Technology, Coming to Market at Approximately R$ 360 Thousand.
LG finally announced the official price of its transparent Signature OLED T. The model, revealed at CES 2024 as one of the brand’s significant innovations, costs US$ 59,999, around R$ 360 thousand, and is already available in the United States.
However, acquiring it will not be simple: it is an exclusive item, accessible only through authorized LG resellers.
According to the company, this is a TV that redefines the concept of design and functionality, aimed at consumers seeking innovation and luxury in their devices.

Innovative Features
The key differentiator of the OLED T is its ability to switch between two distinct modes:
- Transparent Mode: allows the OLED panel to show what is behind the screen, creating a unique visual experience.
- Opaque Mode: eliminates distractions so that the content displayed on its 77-inch screen is the main focus.
Additionally, the device includes exclusive features that are not available in other LG models, making it even more special:
- T-Objet: functions as an Always-On Display (AOD), ideal for showcasing art, videos, or photos with high color quality and sharpness.
- T-Bar: an elegant information ticker that appears at the bottom edge of the screen. It displays useful data, such as sports scores, IoT device status, and weather forecasts, while the rest of the screen remains transparent.
- T-Home: an intuitive interface that facilitates access to apps, settings, and other services.
These features are designed to offer a combination of functionality and sophistication, creating a TV that is more than just an entertainment device.

Who Will Buy?
Even with all this innovation, the high price restricts the OLED T to a highly selective audience. As is the case with other models in the Signature line, the product seems targeted at those leading a luxurious lifestyle and seeking unique pieces to complement a sophisticated environment.
For consumers with more modest budgets, LG itself offers alternatives, such as the LG G4, which delivers an excellent experience without the exorbitant cost.
Now that the OLED T is available for purchase, the question remains: how many will be willing to pay for the privilege of owning a “virtually invisible” TV?
