UFPB Opens Enrollment for Two Specializations for Undergraduate Students. There Are More Than 400 Slots in Free Courses for Those Who Wish to Advance Their Careers.
The Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) is open for enrollment in two free specialization courses. A total of 425 slots are offered in both programs. The free course vacancies are for the following specializations: Rural Education (with 209 slots in the face-to-face modality) and Language Science with Emphasis on Teaching Portuguese (216 slots in the EAD modality).

The free Rural Education courses focus on individuals with higher education who are working or wish to work in Rural Education. The course aims to train specialists to work in different educational contexts, capable of contributing to the development of children, youth, and adults with a practical focus on improving the local community’s life, promoting awareness of the rational use of human and natural resources.

- Pombal (Centro) – 35 slots;
- João Pessoa (Torre) – 59 slots;
- Mari (José Américo) – 35 slots;
- Taperoá (Alto da Conceição) – 20 slots;
- Itaporanga (Centro) – 20 slots.
The enrollment for these free course slots takes place from April 4 to 10, 2024, only through the Integrated Academic Management System (SIGAA) website. Those interested in UFPB’s programs must fill out an online form available on the institution’s website.
To fill out the form, you will need to go to Selection Processes > Selection Processes – Stricto Sensu, attach the files described in item 2.1 of the notice, and print the certificate generated at the end of the enrollment. It is worth mentioning that the institution will not charge any form of fee.
Enrollment in the Course of Language Science with Emphasis on Teaching Portuguese
Meanwhile, the campuses for the 216 slots in the free EAD specialization course in Language Science with Emphasis on Teaching Portuguese at UFPB are as follows:

Enrollment for this free course occurs from April 11 to 22. To do this, it will be necessary to access the UFPB website. The selection of candidates will be conducted based on the submission of the documentation specified in this notice in “2.
Required Documentation”. The complete announcement can be accessed on the website. The selection for the slots in free courses will also respect the chronological order of registrations, starting from the first minute of the system opening, for this purpose, on the first day of enrollment.
