Cleaner Energy For Roraima With The New Thermoelectric Plant The Size Of 15 Soccer Fields, According To Techint Engineering
In Boa Vista, Roraima (RR), the construction of the Jaguatirica II Thermoelectric Plant, carried out by Techint Engineering, is in full swing. When completed, the thermoelectric plant will provide cleaner and cheaper energy for Roraima, as it will allow the shutdown of diesel generation capacity, reducing generation costs and emissions of pollutant gases.

With the capacity to generate 126 MW of power for the state of Roraima, the thermoelectric plant is being built on an area equivalent to 15 soccer fields. The Jaguatirica II UTE of Eneva will be the main source of energy generation for the state.
Thermoelectric Plant In Roraima Was One Of The Winners Of The Auction By Aneel
The integrated Azulão-Jaguatirica II project was one of the winners of the energy auction for supplying Boa Vista (RR) and connected localities, held in 2019 by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL).
