The New Mini SUV From Suzuki, The S-Cross, Arrives In An Updated Version That Can Reach Up To 15 Km/L Of Gasoline. This Launch Promises To Conquer The Market With Its Efficiency And Competitive Price, Positioning Itself As A Popular Option Among Consumers.
The Suzuki S-Cross, an SUV that may not have achieved the fame it deserves in Brazil, has always been an excellent choice for drivers. Known for its impressive durability and performance on lighter terrain, the Suzuki S-Cross now arrives with a new generation. This affordable mini SUV from Suzuki has evolved significantly, becoming an even more interesting, safe, and complete option compared to its competitors, all at an accessible price.
New Suzuki S-Cross Maintains Dimensions And Focuses On Quality
The new affordable SUV basically maintains the same dimensions, which is good. It measures 4.30 m in length, 2.60 m in wheelbase, 1.78 m in width, 1.58 m in height, weighing 1358 kg and providing a spacious 460 L of trunk space. The design of the new mini SUV Suzuki S-Cross has evolved significantly, and let’s say it hardly looks like a Suzuki and is greatly inspired by a very well-selling car in its category: the Corolla Cross.
In front, the new affordable SUV follows the trend of Asian models and comes with a hexagonal grille with Black Piano finish and chrome bars, and we now also have full LED headlights. On the sides, the Suzuki features chrome window trim, aluminum roof rails, and 17-inch diamond-cut wheels. Moving to the rear, the Suzuki S-Cross SUV stands out with an integrated spoiler, gray accent on the bumper, and interconnected full LED taillights.

New Mini SUV From Suzuki Delivers Up To 130 Hp
In terms of engine, the new mini SUV from Suzuki maintains an excellent set offered here, but enhanced. The 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbo delivers direct fuel injection and runs exclusively on gasoline and now has a mild hybrid system featuring a 48V battery.

It delivers up to 130 horsepower and 23.9 kgfm of torque, paired with either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission, with options for front or all-wheel drive. The performance is good, and it is extremely economical, achieving 13.1 km/l in the city and 15.1 km/l on the highway, going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.2 seconds.
On the interior, despite the new generation being completely new, it is not different from its predecessor, as some controls are basically the same. The finishing remains good with soft-touch materials throughout the dashboard and doors.
Another positive point is the excellent internal space it offers. In terms of equipment, the new affordable SUV includes a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, front seat heating, multifunction steering wheel, configurable onboard computer, wireless phone charging, dual-zone digital air conditioning, driving mode selector, console traction, among others.
Affordable SUV Delivers Great Safety Features
In terms of safety, the new Suzuki S-Cross continues to offer not much, but even being basic, it has everything. We have disc brakes with ABS on all four wheels with electronic brake distribution, seven airbags, traction and stability controls, among others. As major attractions, the new affordable SUV offers only collision warning with autonomous emergency braking.
It’s a shame because nowadays most of its rivals already offer automatic high beam switching, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, among several others.
In such a competitive market, it certainly falls short. A car that until now was not popular, but surely with so many updates has everything to become the new mini SUV from Suzuki and sell much better with the new features that are coming.
