The new motorcycle uses a hybrid power source that combines an electric and internal combustion engine through a solid-state hydrogen cylinder, ensuring greater safety and efficiency in its use.
When using the cylinders, the hydrogen mode will need to be “recharged” by swapping the tank instead of being recharged through cables. Xiaomi stated that the electric motorcycle will consume 1 gram of hydrogen per kilometer and the recharge time will be shorter than that of a conventional electric motorcycle.

Brazil records incredible growth in electric cars with a historic 17.7% share in April, and Chinese brands accelerate their dominance over the Brazilian automotive sector in 2026.
In terms of speed and power, the model from the Chinese company is expected to reach a maximum speed of 150 km/h, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds, and a power of 60 kW.
According to Xiaomi, the only obstacle for the model is the supply of hydrogen cylinders, which are obviously not available at every gas station.
Futuristic Design and Production Forecast
Another detail that caught everyone’s attention was the futuristic design of the electric motorcycle, developed by Xiaomi, which features two oscillating arms (also known as fork or pivot) on the right side, making the wheels appear to be floating on the ground. And it doesn’t stop there; the model has horizontal headlights that are already integrated into the vehicle and also a 7-inch front multimedia screen on the front of the motorcycle.
Although production has not yet started, the company has already opened reservations for orders at the beginning of this month. The expectation is that the model will be produced within two years, so that the first deliveries can be made still in 2023.
The price of the hydrogen motorcycle will be US$ 10,700, or approximately R$ 59,580.00 in direct conversion.
Xiaomi in the Vehicle Market
Xiaomi is known for being one of the largest manufacturers of electronic devices in the world, ranging from smartphones to bicycle helmets. In mid-2019, when creating an electric motorcycle was not yet in its plans, the company announced the launch of its first car, which was not electric at the time.
The company partnered with the automaker Bestune, a division of the Chinese manufacturer FAW, and launched its own version of the T77 SUV, which has a 1.2-liter gasoline engine, a six-speed transmission, and a maximum power of 143 horsepower. Its dimensions are 4525 x 1845 x 1615mm. At the time it was announced, the company’s first car cost around 11,900 euros.
