New Xiaomi portable charger combines high capacity, integrated cable, and aggressive price in China, targeting those who need extra battery for travel, urban routine, and multiple devices without relying on loose cables during daily use.

Xiaomi has launched a new 20,000 mAh power bank in China with an integrated USB-C cable, fast charging up to 22.5W, the capacity to power up to three devices simultaneously, and a price of 149 yuan on the Xiaomi Youpin platform.

The model arrives as a higher autonomy option within the brand’s line of portable batteries, with a nominal energy of 74Wh, below the 100Wh limit normally accepted on commercial flights for external batteries carried in hand luggage.

The new product is accompanied by a more compact version, the Xiaomi Power Bank 10000 Pocket Edition 2026, also announced for the Chinese market with an embedded USB-C cable and a maximum power of 22.5W.

This smaller model was listed for 129 yuan during the promotional launch period, while the regular price is stated as 149 yuan, the same value attributed to the 20,000 mAh variant.

Integrated USB-C cable enhances convenience

The main feature of the new generation is the USB-C cable integrated into the charger’s body, a solution that eliminates the need to carry a separate wire to recharge smartphones, tablets, headphones, and other compatible devices.

The proposal targets users who rely on extra battery during commutes, travel, or long periods away from a power outlet.

In addition to the fixed cable, the 20,000 mAh power bank includes an additional USB-C port and a traditional USB-A port.

With this configuration, Xiaomi maintains compatibility with recent devices using USB-C and with accessories that still depend on the USB-A connector in older cables.

The three outputs can provide up to 22.5W individually, according to the disclosed specifications.

The accessory also offers bidirectional charging at the same power, allowing the external battery itself to be recharged at a speed equivalent to that used to power connected devices.

Design maintains discreet look and focus on transport

The 20,000 mAh version maintains a discreet appearance, with rounded corners and a finish in light gray and dark gray tones.

The reported weight is 343 grams, resulting from the internal construction with two 10,000 mAh cells, which together deliver capacity equivalent to a single 20,000 mAh cell.

This structure positions the product as an alternative focused on autonomy, without seeking ultra-compact dimensions.

The choice of curved edges, however, helps with daily transport and handling, especially in backpacks, bags, and hand luggage.

In the 10,000 mAh Pocket Edition model, Xiaomi adopted a more compact design, with a PC+ABS body, rounded sides, and blue-gray and light brown colors.

The smaller version has a nominal energy of 37Wh, also within the parameters normally accepted for air transport in hand luggage.

74Wh power bank can be taken on flights

The 20,000 mAh power bank is rated at 74Wh, relevant information for those intending to use the accessory on airplane trips.

Xiaomi itself states that external batteries below 100Wh are usually allowed on aircraft, although the final authorization depends on the rules of each airline and the regulations applied in each country.

In practice, this places the product within the range considered common for high-capacity power banks used on flights.

Even so, external batteries should be carried in hand luggage, not checked, according to the norms adopted by airlines for equipment with lithium-ion cells.

Xiaomi also highlights an intelligent current recognition system, which adjusts the output according to the connected device.

This management aims to protect smaller devices, such as Bluetooth headphones, smart bands, and other low-energy demand accessories.

Fast charging supports various protocols

The new external battery works with fast charging protocols used in current phones and accessories, including standards like PD 3.0, QC 3.0, PPS, SCP, AFC, FCP, and DCP.

This combination expands the use with smartphones from Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco, as well as Android models from other manufacturers and recent Apple devices with a USB-C port.

According to the product’s global page, the Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 with integrated cable can charge a Xiaomi 15 about 2.5 times, an iPhone 16 Pro up to 4 times, a Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G about 2.9 times, and a Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro approximately 1.9 times.

The manufacturer emphasizes that the numbers come from internal tests and may vary depending on usage, temperature, cable, and battery condition of the devices.

In the tests reported by Xiaomi, 30 minutes of fast charging raises the battery of a Xiaomi 15 to about 27%, while an iPhone 16 Pro can reach approximately 56% in the same interval.

The data replace references to models not officially confirmed on the consulted global page.

Pocket Edition also charges three devices

The Xiaomi Power Bank 10000 Pocket Edition 2026 follows the same logic of connections, with an embedded USB-C cable, one USB-C port, and one USB-A port.

Each output can reach up to 22.5W individually, but the total combined power drops to 15W when two or three devices are charged at the same time.

The compact version also features battery management with diagnostic resources when connected to a computer via the USB-C port.

Among the accessible data are charge cycles, temperature, charging history, and general battery condition, according to information disclosed about the model sold in China.

Another point mentioned for the Pocket Edition is compliance with the Chinese standard GB 47372-2026 for portable batteries.

Xiaomi reported that the cells underwent standardized safety tests, including compression, puncture, and exposure to high temperature, in addition to layers of protection against overvoltage, short-circuit, and overheating.

Initial sale takes place through Xiaomi Youpin

The new power banks were initially listed on Xiaomi Youpin, a platform used by the brand to market its own products and ecosystem items in China.

So far, there is no official confirmation about the global launch of the 20,000 mAh model nor any forecast of arrival in Brazil.

The absence of a local announcement prevents estimating the national price, as international values usually vary with taxes, logistics, distribution margin, and commercial strategy of each market.

For now, the reliable reference remains the Chinese price of 149 yuan for the 20,000 mAh model and the promotional price of 129 yuan for the 10,000 mAh edition.

The line arrives at a time when Xiaomi is also expanding its catalog of portable batteries with thinner versions and magnetic models.

The brand recently launched the Xiaomi 10000mAh UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank, with a thickness of 1.3 cm, wired charging of up to 45W via USB-C, and wireless charging of up to 20W, sold in China for 349 yuan.
