Robotic Innovation At The Center Of Attention At São Paulo Event
At Feimec 2024, Yaskawa Motoman, one of the global leaders in industrial automation, will celebrate 50 years of operations in Brazil, showcasing the versatility of its robots in applications ranging from welding to the customization of giveaways. The event, which is one of the largest in the sector in Latin America, will take place from May 7 to 11 at the São Paulo Expo, expecting to attract over 65,000 visitors.
Technology Demonstration And Interaction With Robots
At the 150 m² booth, the company, in collaboration with Bicafé, will highlight a Barista Robot that will serve coffee to participants, symbolizing the fusion of technology and convenience. In addition, another robot will be responsible for serving draft beer, while a third will perform laser engraving of personalized giveaways. These demonstrations not only showcase the ability of robots to perform complex tasks, but also emphasize their flexibility and efficiency.
Márcio Garcia, Director of Robotic Solutions at Yaskawa Motoman, highlights the importance of Feimec for the company: “It is an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers and partners, increasing confidence in our brand.”

Advances In Collaborative Robotics
During Feimec 2024, the collaborative robot HC20DTP with six axes will be presented, featuring its capacity to work alongside humans in tasks such as assembly, material handling, and pick and place operations. This robot, which supports a payload of 20 kg, will be integrated with a CNC bending machine to manufacture useful objects like pen holders and stainless steel mobile phone stands, demonstrating the harmony and productivity that can be achieved through collaborative automation.
In addition to the HC20DTP, the HC10DTP collaborative robots will also be prominently displayed. These devices share controllers identical to those of industrial robots, facilitating maintenance and reducing the need for replacement parts, offering effective solutions for welding, cutting, and material handling.
Social Impact Of Industrial Robotics
Garcia also addresses the positive impact of robots on the workforce, emphasizing that automation is not aimed at replacing workers, but improving quality and competitiveness in the global market. He points out that in countries with high robot adoption, such as Japan, the USA, China, Germany, and South Korea, there is a correlation between robot use and low unemployment rates. In Brazil, the use of robots is growing, providing safer and more specialized job opportunities.
Yaskawa Motoman Robotics in Brazil, based in Diadema, São Paulo, continues to lead in the introduction of industrial robots in the South American market, offering not only high-tech products but also specialized technical support to ensure continuous and efficient operations across various sectors of industry.
