The free course will professionally qualify people of different ages who want to start a career in the technology job market
Alura, the largest technology course platform in Brazil, is open for enrollment until September 12th for those interested in diving into the universe of programming. The completely free and online classes are part of the Immersion Dev 3 event that will provide participants with concepts in HTML, CSS and JavaScript from scratch.

According to the CEO and organizer of the event, Paulo Silveira, the objective of the course is to professionally qualify people of different ages who wish to start a career in the job market at this time of reheating of economic activities.
“During the immersions carried out, the participants developed their personal pages and there were many people who created portfolios and websites that were different from what was proposed during the course, going beyond, thinking outside the box. This I think is amazing!” says Silveira, who is responsible for promoting various meetings and initiatives for those who work in the area and want to evolve in their careers. With the promise of being more than a digital event, Alura will provide participants with an information dive distributed in ten classes taught by specialists in programming and Front-end. Subscribers will learn to create their first lines of code and develop their potential with a focus on the job market. Among the activities that subscribers will practice are:
- diving into HTML, CSS and JavaScript from scratch;
- face personalized challenges;
- develop your portfolio from day one;
- get to know and participate in the dev community;
- watch exclusive lives with experts on the subject.
- Other immersions
In previous editions of Imersão Dev, students had Front-end techniques where they created AluraFlix, a streaming platform that brings together series, games and videos from Youtube. In other immersions, participants developed AluraQuiz, a mechanism capable of challenging people with questions and answers to show how much the user has mastered a given subject.
Alura also provided immersions for students to play games, including with the JavaScript programming language and learn concepts in CSS, the technology used to create homepages. The use of both tools will be taught in this new Dev Immersion, issue number three, starting in September.
People of different ages and without previous experience who are interested in taking the first step in their programming career can register until September 12th for the Immersion Dev event offered by Alura, the largest platform for courses in the technological area. Classes will be fully online and free from the 13th to the 24th of next month.
