Fuel consumption is one of the highlights. In a more aggressive riding style, the motorcycle achieves between 22 and 25 km/l. At a more relaxed pace, respecting the limits, fuel consumption can exceed 32 km/l, reaching up to 35 km/l. Since 2022, the engine has been remapped, allowing it to reach an original top speed of 135 km/h.
Available Versions: From Fireball to Supernova
The Indian brand Royal Enfield launched the Meteor worldwide in 2019, arriving in Brazil in 2021. Currently, the line is divided into four versions. The entry-level is the Fireball, with black finishes and available in matte red, black, blue, and green. The next version is the Stelar, which is distinguished by chrome finishes and already includes a passenger backrest (sissy bar) as standard. Recently, the Aurora version was introduced, featuring spoked wheels, polished engine, and factory items such as a windshield and touring seat. At the top of the range is the Supernova, which offers two-tone paint, diamond-cut wheels, and all the accessories from previous versions.
Technology, Design and Details of The Cruiser Category
The Meteor 350 is a well-equipped motorcycle in terms of technology. It features air cooling, electronic fuel injection, and disc brakes on both wheels with ByBre calipers and ABS system. The lighting has a standard bulb but stands out with LED DRL around the headlight and a row of LED in the taillight.
As standard, the motorcycle already comes with a center stand, dual shift pedal, and a USB Type A outlet on the handlebar. The dashboard is a mixed type, with an analog speedometer and a digital display that includes a gear indicator and the “Eco” function. The Tripper Navigation system, previously integrated, is now an accessory sold separately.
The frame is a double cradle made of steel. The front suspension is telescopic, while the rear is a twin shock with preload adjustment. The wheels are made of aluminum alloy, 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear, with tubeless tires.
Pros and Cons of The Model
Among the negatives pointed out in the test, several details stand out. The dashboard, although attractive, lacks a trip computer. The comfort of the passenger is a critical point, as the original pillion seat is considered hard and the footpeg is set too far back. The engine also has weaker torque at low and mid-range RPMs compared to other models.
On the other hand, the positive points are strong. The motorcycle offers an excellent cost-benefit ratio in its category and a very low fuel consumption. Its unique design attracts attention everywhere it goes, its handling in motion is pleasant, and it already comes with useful items from the factory, such as the center stand and dual shift pedal.
