“Our goal is to create one of the biggest initiatives in Brazil for the gamer public. For this, we will start in August 2021 with a circuit of online content and championships and, in 2022, expand to face-to-face experiences around Brazil”, says the company in its official blog. About the project developed by Nubank in partnership with Ambev and iFood
Nubank launches one of the largest content circuits and online championships. The duration of the first stage of the project will run until December 2021. Next year (2022), the company intends to provide face-to-face experiences at events throughout Brazil. Initially there will be three major actions in São Paulo, Recife and Porto Alegre.
The expectation is to gather around 600 thousand people from different regions of Brazil. This, of course, if the health situation is under control, as expected. However, the event is not just about electronic sports (eSports). Entertainment by generation and content is one of the veins that make up the project.
“Our plan is to bring an unprecedented experience in Brazil to game lovers. All connected to the needs and desires of the 81 million gamers in the country (and their families too)”, says fintech.
As a 100% digital company, Nubank is somehow connected to the world of gamers. In the 7th edition of the Game Brasil Survey (2020), fintech was chosen as the favorite among gamers in the “bank” category.
Good Game WP in 2021
The Good Game WP started on Monday (02/08) with daily broadcasts. The event is hosted by youtuber and comedian Henrytardo and eSports journalist Barbara Gutierre.
“In these conversations, broadcast on Twitch and YouTube from Monday to Friday, Henrytardo and Barbara will talk about the best players of the week, the best matches and other subjects from the gamer universe”, explains Nubank.
Weekly conversations will also be available as a podcast on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. Also for this year, League of Legends (LoL), Counter Strike (CS:GO), Free Fire and Valorant championships are planned. Professionals and amateurs can participate.
