Nubank joins forces with other giants, Ambev and iFood, and launches Good Game WP. The new project for gamers will bring together content, championships, and in-person experiences for people passionate about games and pay R$ 200 thousand in prizes to game lovers. Check below how to participate.

“Our goal is to create one of the largest initiatives in Brazil for the gaming audience. To this end, we will start in August 2021 with a circuit of online content and championships and, in 2022, expand to in-person experiences across Brazil,” says the company on its official blog. About the Project Developed by Nubank in Partnership with Ambev and iFood

Nubank kicks off one of the largest circuits of online content and championships. The first stage of the project will last until December 2021. Next year (2022), the company plans to provide in-person experiences at events throughout Brazil. Initially, there will be three major events in São Paulo, Recife, and Porto Alegre.

The expectation is to gather about 600 thousand people from various regions of Brazil. This, of course, if the health situation is under control as expected. However, the event is not just about eSports. Entertainment through content generation is one of the veins that make up the project.

“Our plan is to bring a unique experience in Brazil to game enthusiasts. Everything connected to the needs and desires of the 81 million gamers in the country (and their families too),” says the fintech.

Being a 100% digital company, Nubank is already somewhat connected to the gaming world. In the 7th edition of the Game Brasil Survey (2020), the fintech was chosen as the favorite among gamers in the “bank” category.

Good Game WP in 2021

Good Game WP started on Monday (02/08) with daily broadcasts. The event is hosted by the YouTuber and comedian Henrytardo and eSports journalist Barbara Gutierre.

“In these conversations, streamed on Twitch and YouTube from Monday to Friday, Henrytardo and Barbara will talk about the best players of the week, the best matches, and other topics from the gaming universe,” Nubank explains.

Weekly, the discussions will also be available as a podcast on Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer. Championships for League of Legends (LoL), Counter Strike (CS:GO), Free Fire, and Valorant are also scheduled for this year. Both professionals and amateurs can participate.
