Baidu, one of the major search engines in the world, has launched a fully autonomous electric car that will not require any type of human supervision, being the largest scale and direction of autonomy in the world. The announcement of the electric car was made last Wednesday (18) at Baidu’s global event, but there were not many details about its launch.

Among the information provided during Baidu’s event, it was also reported about the futurism that will be present in the design of the innovation created by the company, which will feature a large display on its multimedia panel, where there will also be a user interface, responsible for acting as a media center with artificial intelligence, with internet access and much more.
The electric car, which will not require human supervision, will also include other services, such as scheduling dates and appointments, mentioned by the company’s owner. In addition, the model features a futuristic design where the doors open vertically and has seats only for passengers, reinforcing the idea that no type of human interference will be necessary.
The electric car will also recognize voice commands made by its owner to redirect the destination and execute tasks if necessary. Currently, the company, which is one of the largest search engines, already operates autonomous vehicles in China, such as cars and buses, albeit more common ones that operate with control functions in designated areas.
