The annual celebration is a common practice in the sector, serving to express gratitude for past achievements and seek divine blessings for the upcoming harvest.  The 13th iteration of Bevap was graced by a priest and a pastor, who shared inspiring anecdotes from the Bible to emphasize the company’s importance to the community by generating jobs, income, and prosperity.

In addition to religious figures, the ceremony also featured remarks by President Newton Santana and shareholder representative Sergio Facchini, who emphasized the importance of safety.

“We are in a very special phase with a major change at Bevap, and when we talk about safety, it’s about getting everyone to work and, primarily, going home at the end of the day knowing that they’ll be in perfect shape for the next day,” said Newton Santana, who reinforced his message by wearing a shirt related to Sipat (Safety Week).

Employees play an important role in the celebrations, joining musical groups in formations like parades as they enter the premises carrying sugarcane seedlings and samples of products they produce from this raw material, such as sugar and alcohol. In his final remarks, Sergio Facchini also highlighted the importance of gratitude, humility, and faith, which should always be present in the company.
