The Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (GSEP), an international organization composed of global electricity companies at the center of the electric revolution, is offering 12 scholarship positions in the field of energy to students pursuing a master’s degree in energy development, including Brazilians, according to the Exame website.
The company’s goal is to transform the way energy is developed globally, bringing a more sustainable approach to energy generation.
The 12 selected students for the scholarships can pursue their master’s degrees anywhere in the world (Brazilians are accepted!), but the requirement is that the master’s program must be directly related to energy generation.

The scholarships will cover up to 10,000 dollars per year (around 52,000 reais) for up to two years of master’s program for the selected candidates.
More Information About The Scholarships:
Brazilians and other interested parties wishing to apply for the scholarship offer in the field of energy must meet some basic requirements to participate. Such requirements include:
- Having a history of involvement with the community where they live;
- In addition to meeting the requirements, the student cannot receive another scholarship simultaneously;
- Being a citizen of one of the developing countries listed by the OECD;
- Pursuing studies in the field of energy, from technologies to public policies or other relevant areas;
- Committing to return to their home country after studies to contribute to development;
- Being an exceptional student, among the top 20% of their class;
Required Documents To Apply:
- Passport or birth certificate proving citizenship of a developing country;
- Curriculum vitae detailing education history, work experience, awards, and participation in volunteer and/or extracurricular activities;
- Admission letter from the university program of your choice;
- Two letters of recommendation (one from a professor or another academic reference);
- Curriculum outline of the master’s program;
- Therefore, the student must apply and be accepted to the master’s program of their interest before applying for this scholarship.
Brazilian students who do not have documentation in English to apply for the scholarships will need to present a certified translation along with the original document.
