BRAVA Energia Signs Contract with Copergás to Supply 200 Thousand m³/day, Diversifying Suppliers and Boosting the Gas Market in Pernambuco.

BRAVA Energia has confirmed the signing of a significant contract that marks the beginning of gas supply to the Pernambuco market. This contract, formalized with Copergás, aims to deliver a daily volume of approximately 200 thousand m³ of natural gas, representing an important step in the context of diversifying local suppliers. The measure was planned not only to strengthen the supply but also to provide more stability and competitiveness in the regional gas sector.

Resulting from the merger between BRAVA Energia, 3R Petroleum, and Enauta, this initiative is essential to consolidate the presence of renewable energy in Brazil’s northeast region. With the agreement lasting for two years, the company significantly contributes to the dynamism of the local market. The significance of the agreement lies in promoting sustainability and innovation in the Brazilian energy sector, marking a milestone for the industry. This strategic partnership envisions a potential growth scenario, benefiting both the local economy and the prospects for innovation in the national energy matrix.

Supply Contract with Copergás

The signed contract establishes the daily supply of 200 thousand cubic meters of natural gas to the Pernambuco Gas Company, also known as Copergás. This partnership is fundamental to strengthen the diversification of agents in the state of Pernambuco. The gas needed for this commitment will be extracted from the extensive portfolio of BRAVA Energia. This portfolio includes production located in the Recôncavo Baiano, Espírito Santo, and Rio Grande do Norte, demonstrating the company’s diversified operational capacity. The start of gas deliveries is scheduled for January 2025, further consolidating BRAVA Energia’s position in the national gas market.

Diversification and Gas Market

Copergás, one of the largest distributors of piped natural gas in the Northeast, gains an important partnership with the new contract that contributes to the opening of the gas market. The agreement helps to foster the diversification of suppliers in Pernambuco, in addition to encouraging and strengthening the national gas production. By promoting new agreements like this, the involved companies directly impact the energy landscape of the region, favoring economic growth and sustainability in the sector.

With this advancement, BRAVA Energia takes a significant step in its gas portfolio diversification strategy, effectively and securely reaching new regions. The Director of New Business, Trading, Gas and Energy, Pedro Medeiros, emphasizes that this partnership represents an important milestone for the company.

BRAVA Energia and the Versatility in Gas

BRAVA Energia stands out among the largest gas producers in Brazil, with a special focus on non-associated gas. This capability allows the company to offer remarkable flexibility to meet a wide range of customer needs. The commitment to continuous and efficient supply reinforces confidence in the Brazilian energy market, having a positive and comprehensive impact on the sector.
