Fundação Getulio Vargas informed this Monday that the preview of the Industry Survey, signals that the ICI should increase in the month of June
The week starts with good news in the industrial sector. According to the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, industry in Brazil will show a strong recovery this June. Oil and gas company intends to invest US$ 200 million in onshore fields in Rio Grande do Norte.

Recording the highest positive monthly variation, businessmen's expectations for the industrial sector are positive amid the current situation and over the coming months.
According to information from the Getulio Vargas Foundation, this Monday (22/06), the preview of the Industry Survey indicates that the Industry Confidence Index ( HERE) is expected to reach 76,6 points in June, an increase of 15,2 points compared to the previous month.
If the result is confirmed, this will be the largest positive monthly variation ever recorded for the industry sector in the midst of the crisis.
"The advance of confidence in June is the result of the improvement in the assessment of businessmen in relation to the present and, mainly, for the next three and six months", said the FGV in a note.
The data referring to the Expectations Index by the FGV shows the perception of entrepreneurs about the future of the industry in Brazil, which has been recovering in the last two months more than half of the drop observed in April, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The improvement in the feeling of businessmen in relation to the industry in Brazil, occurs amid the relaxation of quarantine measures in important economic centers of the country, such as several cities in the State of São Paulo.
