What If A Single Electric Car Could Transform Into A Pickup, Delivery Van, And A Motorhome? It Was Thinking About This That Eletric Brands Developed The Xbus, A Vehicle With An Incredible Torque That Will Reach The Market Next Year
The German company, Eletric Brands, will bring out in 2022 its new launch, the XBus, an electric car that stands out for its modular body options. The vehicle is an electric microvan project that combines versatility in a small space and propulsion that does not excite with power but offers high torque. The vehicle can transform into a pickup truck, a delivery van, and even a motorhome.

According to the company, the Xbus follows the Lego principle, allowing consumers to vary the body configurations without needing special tools and as many times as they want, making it possible to use the same Xbus as a pickup, motorhome, or cargo or passenger van.
When equipped with a motorhome, the Xbus features a bed for two adults, a minibar, a kitchen with a sink, and an induction stove. Consumers will also have the option to equip the electric car with an off-road package, which includes a wider track and elevated suspension.

The new European Renault Clio travels 1,450 km without stopping to refuel thanks to the Eco-G 120 engine, which combines two tanks, one for gasoline and the other for LPG.
An Electric Car With Several Functions
The vehicle, which can transform into a pickup, van, or motorhome, measures 3.64 m in length, 1.60 m in width, 1.94 m in height, and will operate in various segments of the European market due to the capacities presented earlier. Similar to the Renault Twizy, for example, the Xbus will act as a quadricycle, capable of carrying a load of 450 to 600 kg.
Its total weight is less than 600 kg, helping to classify it in this category. In the category of vehicles with a cargo limit of up to 1,000 kg, the vehicle capable of transforming into a pickup or van can travel at the same speeds as other cars, using four electric motors installed in the wheel hubs to make this possible.
A Torque To Make Large Pickups Jealous
The electric car has only 20 horsepower, with a peak power of 75 hp, but what distinguishes the model that can transform into a van or motorhome is its torque, which exceeds 101.6 kgfm and is impressive compared to large pickups.
To give you an idea, the RAM 2500 Laramie has 110.7 kgfm. The Xbus is also equipped with a 10 kWh battery, providing the vehicle with a range of 200 km; however, the responsible company states that there will be a version with a 30 kWh battery and a range of 600 km.
To excel in areas with little or no pavement, the vehicle features all-terrain tires and all-wheel drive. The interior of the vehicle stands out with a steering wheel that has buttons for the horn and a small display serving as a cluster.
