Requirements for Participation
Who is eligible to participate? Candidates who have completed High School, or who are in their 2nd or 3rd year of High School, can apply. This course is aimed at both young people and adults who wish to work in various fields, such as companies, industries, commerce, services, and laboratories.
Course Details and Methodology
The Quality Control Assistant Course will have a duration of four months, with in-person classes held from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Inmetro and Zeca Pagodinho Institute facilities located in Xerém/Duque de Caxias. Aiming to prepare students for the job market, the course offers training in the execution of inspection tasks, organization, storage, compliance verification, product and service release, as well as quality control and safety.
Number of Positions and Enrollment Process
Twenty spots will be offered for this course. Enrollment will be open from July 10 to July 26, 2024, and can be done either through the electronic form available <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1DGjoM3tkI7oeGmjUmM4X-oAVEjbkGjcGSJfV5PbNIrY/edit> or in person at the computer lab of the Zeca Pagodinho Institute.
Required Documents and Essay Test
For enrollment, it is essential to present digital copies of identification documents, proof of schooling, and an updated email. In addition to these requirements, candidates must submit an essay on a current topic at the time of enrollment. The essay will have a maximum score of 10, and candidates must achieve a score between 5 and 10 to be approved.
Announcement of Results and Enrollment
The results will be announced on the Zeca Pagodinho Institute website and on the Instagram page @institutozecapagodinho on August 2, 2024. The 20 first approved candidates will be called to enroll between August 12 and August 16, 2024, at Inmetro.
If there are still unfilled spots, other approved candidates will be called according to ranking order. It is important to emphasize that, to be enrolled, the candidate must pay attention to the dates and present all required documentation.
Rules for Elimination and Withdrawal
Candidates who do not submit all documents, do not present the essay, use false documents, or commit other irregularities will be eliminated from the process. Students who do not attend the first ten days of class without justification will be considered withdrawn. This ensures the seriousness and commitment necessary for training in the Quality Control Assistant Course.
