With the growing preference among consumers for automatic cars, there is a strong demand for affordable options for 2024. Although the prices of new models with this type of transmission exceed R$ 96,000, there are still economical alternatives in the used market. Affordable automatic cars offer several benefits that go beyond just driving comfort. From ease of driving with less physical strain to enhanced performance on steep terrains, they excel in many aspects.
We present a list of the main automatic cars for up to R$ 60,000 that combine comfort and good mechanics. The list covers different styles of vehicles, such as hatchbacks, sedans, and minivans, to meet various driver preferences.
Hyundai HB20 Premium 1.6 – 2015

Toyota Corolla Xei 2.0 – 2012
This sedan in the list of affordable automatic cars is known for its durability and efficiency, making it a reliable choice for anyone looking for an accessible and quality automatic car.
The 2012 Corolla lineup features a four-speed automatic transmission, costing between R$ 55,000 and R$ 60,000. The model is equipped with a 2.0 engine generating 153 hp and 20.7 kgfm of torque, reaching speeds of up to 193 km/h.
Nissan Versa SV 1.6 – 2017
The list of automatic cars for up to R$ 60,000 now includes a newer sedan. Thus, we have the Nissan Versa 217, with a CVT automatic transmission, priced at around R$ 60,000. The model features a 1.6 16V aspirated flex engine with 111 hp and 15.1 kgfm of torque.
Although it is not the most powerful on the list of affordable automatic cars, the Versa has a length of 4.49 meters and a wheelbase of 2.60 meters, ideal for larger families. Its trunk has a capacity of 460 liters, and the features are similar to those of the Corolla.
Honda CR-V – 2011
To conclude the list of automatic cars for up to R$ 60,000, we have the Honda CR-V. Although it is older, the model is a good choice for those who enjoy SUVs and need space. For R$ 55,000, it is already possible to find units of Honda’s SUV. Equipped with a 2.0 engine running only on gasoline, it delivers 150 hp and 19.4 kgfm of torque. The trunk impressively offers a capacity of 559 liters.
