Aiming for maximum production capacity in the coming months, Enauta is operating another well in the Atlanta Field. Named 5H, the well is the fourth for the oil company in the Santos Basin area, one of the main bets for 2023. The company is now awaiting the completion of the ramp-up phase in the structure.

Enauta, an exploration and production company of oil and gas, announced the start of production of the fourth well in the Atlanta Field, located in the Santos Basin.

The well, named 7-ATL-5H-RJS (also referred to as 5H), is considered strategic for the company and is expected to significantly contribute to the increase in oil production in the region.

It is currently connected to the FPSO Petrojarl I, which will help expand the company’s production capacity in the Brazilian oil and gas sector.

Currently, the structure is in the ramp-up phase but is expected to move past this production stage by the next weekend, as highlighted by Enauta in its statement.

The arrival of the 5H well to the company’s daily production was essential for a productive leap, as the oil company reached a capacity of 16.1 thousand barrels per day in the Santos Basin area.

Enauta has been continuously investing in oil exploration and production in the Santos Basin, considered one of the most important areas in the sector in Brazil.

The company is the operator of the Atlanta Field, located off the coast of Santos, and holds stakes in other projects in the region.

According to the oil company, it invested its efforts to bring the site into operation, aiming for a leap in the daily fuel exploration capacity.

Thus, the installation of the new pump at the 7-ATL-2HP-RJS well is already scheduled for April of this year. This is because it announced in early March that it temporarily halted production at the well.

The company’s inspection activities found some failures in the topside equipment, and it is now working to resolve them.

Despite the situation, the start of production at Enauta’s 5H well in the Atlanta Field was an important step for the Santos Basin campaign.
