The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão has opened enrollment to fill 450 spots in two free specialization courses in distance education mode, with in-person support at poles in the interior of the state.
The selection, conducted by the Itapecuru Mirim Campus, includes the lato sensu graduate programs in Environmental Education and Information Technology in Education, with classes scheduled to start in 2026 and in-person meetings preferably on Saturdays and Sundays.
According to the official notice of the selection process, enrollment remains open from December 15, 2025, to January 19, 2026.

The graduate program in Information Technology in Education has a total of 200 spots, also with 50 per pole.

To obtain the specialist certificate, IFMA indicates that the student will need to successfully complete all subjects.
The successful completion and defense of the Thesis will also be required.

The schedule published in the notice foresees the announcement of the results of the approved applications on January 23, 2026.
