A Brazilian container manufacturer announced in a video a modular container house of 18 square meters, made of new isothermal panel, for 44,900 reais. The module already comes with a complete bathroom, vinyl flooring, balcony, and windows on both sides, and is delivered in about 30 days, faster than a container.
A small house, ready to live in and delivered in about a month: this is what a Brazilian container manufacturer presents, showcasing in a promotional video a modular house of 18 square meters announced for 44,900 reais. The module, 6 meters long by 3 meters wide, leaves the company’s yard already with a bathroom, vinyl flooring, and ready installations.
Unlike a house made from a used maritime container, the module is manufactured from scratch, with new sheets and isothermal panel. According to the company, identified in the video as Solutil Containers, this type of unit is ready in about 30 days, a shorter time frame than the approximately 50 days mentioned for an adapted container.
What comes in the 18 square meter modular house

The module is 6 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 2.90 meters high, totaling about 18 square meters. One of the differences highlighted in the video is the width: it is 3 meters, compared to the 2.44 meters of a standard container.

Two-story tiny house reveals the secret many people ignore in construction: walls do not support the structure, 8 pillars bear the weight, and 1,500 blocks show how the true skeleton of a house is born within engineering.
These extra centimeters, according to the company, allow for a layout that would not fit in a conventional container, with the bathroom on the side, space for the kitchen sink, and a wide corridor.

The unit comes with windows on both sides, including a 1.50-meter one and maxim-ar type models, as well as a balcony with treated pine flooring, iron sides, a lamp, and a isothermal panel roof.
Inside, the house has rubberized vinyl flooring, baseboards glued with PU finish to prevent gaps, outlets, air conditioning point, and ready electrical and plumbing installations, with the circuit breaker panel embedded.
Bathroom ready and house finishes
The bathroom is delivered complete, which is noteworthy in a module of this size.
It is located on the side and includes a sink with a cabinet mirror, monoblock toilet, drain, shower point, and a tempered glass casement window.
The door is frosted, and the wall covering is made of ACM, with patterns that imitate wood and burnt cement, while the shower stall floor uses ceramic tiles, as in a masonry construction.
This level of finish, according to the company, is possible precisely because of the 3-meter width of the house. In a common, narrower container, fitting a complete bathroom and still leaving space for a kitchen and circulation would be more difficult.
It is worth remembering that all these features come from the manufacturer’s own promotional material, not from an independent evaluation.
Why the modular house is faster than a container
The difference compared to the traditional container house starts with the origin of the material. Instead of reusing a used maritime container, which usually has small dents, the module is manufactured from scratch with new sheets and isothermal panel.
The isothermal panel is a construction system with an insulating core between steel sheets, also used in cold rooms, which helps with the thermal insulation of the environment.
Since production is carried out in the company’s own yard, the informed deadline is about 30 days, compared to the approximately 50 days cited for an adapted container.
According to the manufacturer, this type of modular house can be used not only as a residence but also as an office, store, or sales stand, which broadens the interested audience.
How much it costs and what to check before buying
The price announced in the video is 44,900 reais for the ready module, with windows on both sides and the finish described above.
It is important to note that this price, as well as the 30-day period, is provided by the company itself and may vary depending on the project, region, and date, as it is not an independent test nor a fixed official table.
Before closing a deal with any modular house, consumer caution is advisable.
The company does not specify in the video whether the price includes shipping and installation, items that are usually charged separately in this market, and purchasing one of these modules typically requires considering the land, foundation, transportation, and regularization of the construction with the city hall, such as the occupancy permit.
Comparing with the cost of an adapted container and a masonry construction also helps to understand if the house is worthwhile for your case.
A modular house ready in 30 days, with a complete bathroom and vinyl flooring for 44,900 reais, shows how constructions outside the traditional construction site are gaining ground.
