Ford Announced The Price Of Its Electric Van. The Product Will Be Launched Next Year
At the end of last year, Ford announced the E-Transit, the electric version of the famous Transit. The E-Transit is one of Ford’s oldest electric projects. The American company announced its electrification plan in 2016, where it first talked about the new electric van and projects for the future in this category.
The E-Transit has been under construction for a long time; however, Ford still does not plan to launch it this year. Everything indicates that the electric van will be available for sale next year. However, now the company has released more images of the automaker’s ambitious project.

Jim Farley, CEO of Ford, emphasized the importance of the project to start the long process of achieving carbon neutrality: “Ford is a leader in trucks and commercial vans in North America and Europe, so transitioning the fleet to zero emissions, especially for the rapidly growing last-mile delivery segment, is crucial to achieving our goal of carbon neutrality by 2050’’.

Price Of The Electric E-Transit Van
The Ford E-Transit will be equipped with a 67 kWh battery. The company highlighted that it will launch vans with three different heights and three different body sizes. Thus, the different configurations provide different load capacities. The price of Ford’s electric van in the United States starts at $43,000, about R$ 233,000.
Additionally, the E-Transit is equipped with the highest navigation technology. The company outfitted the van with cutting-edge technology that assists drivers in navigating busy roads. This is expected to drastically reduce accident numbers.
