Triumphant Return Of Ford Car Promises To Shake Up The Luxury Vehicle Market. It Is The Electric SUV Ford Mustang Mach-E, Which Delivers Up To 488 Hp Of Power.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E, the electric SUV version of the iconic muscle car, was recently launched in Brazil in its GT Performance version, priced at R$ 486 thousand. This triumphant return of Ford features a 91 kWh battery pack and two electric motors, delivering an impressive 487 hp of power and 84 kgfm of torque. Innovation and power come together to redefine the concept of performance in electric vehicles in the Brazilian market.

The traction is all-wheel drive, with a power distribution of 50% on each axle. Its range is 379 km, according to Inmetro. With these numbers, the new Ford Mustang Mach-E accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and has a maximum speed of 200 km/h. This is the fastest car in Ford’s history in the Brazilian market.

When purchasing the electric SUV, the new owner will also receive a portable wallbox of 7 kW. The battery recharge takes, on average, 14 hours to go from 0 to 100%. It is necessary to be plugged into an industrial-type outlet, 220V and 32A, on a grounded network. The fixed 11 kW wallbox, on the other hand, can charge the Ford Mustang in 11 hours.

The idea of the name “Mustang” on an SUV is still hard to get used to; however, Ford incorporates references from the muscle car in its “silent brother,” which can even emit an artificial sound in the cabin.

The hood of the Ford Mustang Mach-E is long and could even hide a V8 engine. However, there is only a 139-liter trunk. The return of the Ford car resembles the muscle car with its narrow LED headlights angled to give an aggressive touch to the SUV.

On the side, the door handles are activated by buttons on all four doors, and the wheels are 20 inches (whereas the muscle car has 19-inch wheels). Just above the left front wheel is the type 2 charging plug – the European standard, the most common in the world.

At the back, the return of the Ford car features LED taillights, which are divided into three blocks, just like on the Mustang V8, but with more spacing and a horizontal strip that extends into the 541-liter trunk lid.

Inside, the upper part of the dashboard and doors delivers soft-touch materials; however, the rest is rigid plastic. What stands out is the giant 15.5-inch vertical display of the multimedia center, Tesla-style, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto without the need for a wire.

There is also a wireless phone charger and six USB ports scattered throughout the cabin, two type A and C. The instrument cluster has 10.2 inches and three screen customization modes. In this triumphant return of the Ford car, the front seats have electric adjustments and heating; however, only the driver’s seat has three memory modes.

Additionally, the Mach-E offers nine airbags, a sunroof, dual-zone digital climate control, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera, sound system with nine speakers, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, among others.
