Companies Advance Toward Leadership in the Solar Sector in 2025

GoodWe and Fotus, since June 17, 2025, have reinforced a strategic alliance to gain an even larger share of the Brazilian solar energy market, one of the most promising in the world, according to the Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association (ABSOLAR).

Partnership Unites Global and Local Forces

To begin with, it is essential to highlight that the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding to market 300 MW, marking a bold expansion in their operations.
Furthermore, GoodWe, globally recognized for its cutting-edge technology, combines its international know-how with the agile logistics of Fotus, thereby strengthening its network in Brazil.

Clear Goal: Increase Photovoltaic Solutions

Fabio Mendes, vice president of GoodWe for South America, stated in an interview in June 2025 that the union aims to drive distributed generation projects through a highly skilled network of integrators.
In this way, he asserts: “We believe in the potential of this collaboration to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge solar solutions throughout the national territory.”

Expanding Solar Sector Accelerates Opportunities

According to ABSOLAR, the sector is expected to grow by about 25% in 2025, adding more than 13.2 GW of installed capacity.
Moreover, just in 2024, the segment attracted R$ 54.9 billion in investments, establishing itself as a highly competitive and expanding area.
Therefore, GoodWe and Fotus want to secure a significant share of this increasingly competitive market.

Fotus Invests in Logistics and Robust Structure

Fotus, based in Vila Velha (ES), already operates with distribution centers in Campinas (SP), Aparecida de Goiânia (GO), Viana (ES), Guaramirim (SC), Ananindeua (PA), and Cabo de Santo Agostinho (PE).
Additionally, by the end of 2025, two more centers are expected to be inaugurated, thus expanding the logistical reach and ensuring quicker responses to partners and integrators.

Differentiated Technical Support for Integrators

In addition to physical infrastructure, Fotus highlights its team made up of specialized consultants and experienced engineers.
José João Cunha Filho, CEO of Fotus, emphasized in an interview that “the partnership with GoodWe strengthens the national solar ecosystem with proximity, agility, and deep technical knowledge.”
He reiterated that “GoodWe has been present since the beginning of Fotus’s journey, supporting every stage of this growth.”

Highlights of the Agreement

  • 300 MW for immediate marketing, according to the memorandum of understanding, signed on June 17, 2025.
  • 25% growth expected for the sector in 2025, with a projection of more than 13.2 GW, according to data from ABSOLAR.
  • Investments of R$ 54.9 billion attracted only in 2024.
  • Expansion of Fotus network with plans for two new logistics centers still in 2025.

Commitment to Innovation and Quality

In this way, the companies make it clear that they intend to expand distributed generation, offer smart storage solutions, and ensure specialized technical support for integrators in all regions.
“We share the commitment to innovation and quality. We are confident that this collaboration will bring concrete benefits to all partners in Brazil,” highlighted José João Cunha Filho, in June 2025, emphasizing alignment with sustainable growth goals.
