GranIHC won the multimillion-dollar bid from Petrobras, amounting to R$ 47.8 million. The contract was signed this October, and GranIHC is responsible for the executive project of construction and assembly of the replicant FPSO P-68, currently installed in Berbigão, in the Santos Basin. The agreement between GranIHC and Petrobras will involve the provision of engineering services, C&M, and commissioning of modifications. The Contract is under the EPCI model and will have a duration of 18 months, with the possibility of extension for an equal period.

The bidding was coordinated by the BM-S-11 consortium, formed by the world’s oil giants: Petrobras, Shell, TotalEnergies, and Petrogal.

This Will Be The First Time That GranIHC Provides Services Targeted To Replicant FPSOs

The contract will cover all onshore preparation work, which has already begun, as well as the phase of modifications and adjustments in the unit and supply of materials.

The mobilization work of the main contract team has begun. The team will have up to 60 people, including engineering personnel and onshore and offshore roles. During the work, the team will be accommodated in the P-68 facilities.

This will be the first time that GranIHC provides services targeted at replicant FPSOs. Capable of processing 150 thousand bpd and compressing up to 6 million m³/day of gas, the P-68 began operations at the end of 2019.

In addition to the P-68 contract, Petrobras will also hire C&M services for the FPSOs P-66, P-67, P-69, and P-70, currently coordinating a bidding process.
