About IFMS
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) was created by Law No. 11,892, of December 29, 2008, when the Ministry of Education (MEC) restructured the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific, and Technological Education.
The implementation process of IFMS began in 2007, with the sanctioning of Law No. 11,534, of October 25, 2007, which created federal technical and agricultural schools. At that time, the Federal Technical School of Mato Grosso do Sul was established, headquartered in Campo Grande, and the Federal Agricultural School of Nova Andradina.
