According to the General Manager of TPC Nordeste, Thiago Brandão, with the restructuring of the Complex, the market in Bahia finds the best option for a logistics hub.
“TPC Nordeste is prepared to meet the demand of the entire region. We can be a logistics hub for international cargoes for import and/or export and national general cargoes. We are 12 kilometers from the airport and 28 from the port, located strategically between the primary zones of Salvador and the Camaçari Industrial Hub. We were the first Customs Logistics and Industrial Center in the state to be certified as OEA – Authorized Economic Operator, which means having a trustworthy relationship with the State and the Federal Revenue,” states Brandão.

After 16 years and almost 600 prototypes, a Chinese inventor unveils the world’s smallest and cheapest manned jet, at just 3.80 meters long and costing US$7.2 thousand in materials.
With the restructuring, the TPC Nordeste Logistics Complex now features a platform of import and export services with technological infrastructure for a variety of needs, such as receiving, bonded warehousing, customs clearance, sorting, checking, labeling, distribution, and transportation.
Its size comprises a total area of 150 thousand m² distributed into a Customs Logistics and Industrial Center (Clia-TPC), a general warehouse (AG-TPC), and a multi-purpose distribution center (CD-TPC).
After restructuring, the Customs Logistics and Industrial Center now has 70,000 m² of bonded area, including 15,000 m² of covered area for general and chemical cargoes.
Meanwhile, the General Warehouse now offers 5,000 m² designated for post-nationalization cargo, where separation, consolidation, and dispatch of products intended for the national market will be carried out and temporarily stored with lower warehousing costs.
According to TPC’s Vice President of Operations, Sérgio Faria, the TPC Nordeste Logistics Complex has extensive facilities to serve companies from different sectors, including petrochemical and renewable energy, as well as health, telecommunications, and the consumer/retail market, such as sports goods and food.
TPC Nordeste acquired the complex at the end of 2017 and has since been investing in equipment, civil infrastructure, information technology, and people management.
As a result, even with the global crisis caused by the coronavirus, the company gained 90 new clients and began meeting export demands, including the cotton and petrochemical sectors in Bahia, while also strengthening integrated logistics chains, providing CLIA services, general warehousing, and transportation.
