Evapco Group Inaugurates Factory in Sorocaba, Bringing a Major Investment and 800 Job Openings in the Next Three Years.
The City of Sorocaba participated in the inauguration of the new factory of Evapco Group. The multinational, which manufactures ventilation systems, chose Sorocaba to open its new unit. This investment of R$ 200 million will generate 800 job openings in Sorocaba over the next three years, contributing to local economic development.
The New Factory of Evapco Group
Evapco Group is known for its operations in over 25 countries and for its innovation and technology in the ventilation field.
The new factory, located in the former Wobben plant in Sorocaba’s Industrial Zone, has already begun operations.

Carlos Antonio Celmin, president of Evapco South America, emphasized that the new unit of the multinational in Sorocaba will have a space of 66,000 square meters, allowing for the expansion of Evapco Group’s business.
The factory in Sorocaba will produce ventilation equipment aimed at data centers and the agro-industrial sector.
Moreover, the global CEO of the multinational, Patrick Strine, highlighted Sorocaba’s favorable conditions for receiving investments, such as infrastructure and tax incentives that facilitate the installation of new factories.

One of Evapco Group’s priorities in Sorocaba will be the training and qualification of its workforce.
The multinational plans to implement training programs for new employees, ensuring they are prepared to operate the advanced technologies that the factory will utilize.
