Petrobras Said It Will Preserve the Scope of the Project That Provides for the Relocation of Wells Between Platforms in Operation in 2022.
After canceling the tender for the Jubarte FPSO last Friday for the Whale Park, in the Campos Basin, Petrobras relaunched the offer this Monday (10/19). The Whale Park includes the areas under development of Baleia Anã, Baleia Azul, Baleia Franca, Cachalote, Caxaréu, Mangangá, Pirambu, and the Jubarte field, originated from the BC-60 block, in the Campos Basin.

Check the tender document for the competition made available by the Petronect system. Proposals for the hiring of the platform to be installed in the revitalization project of the Whale Park, in deep waters off the Espírito Santo coast of the Campos Basin may be submitted by March 17, 2021.
The General Technical Description (GTD) of the competition provides for the hiring of chartering and operation of a unit with a capacity to produce 100 thousand barrels/day of oil and 180 thousand barrels/day of water – in 2017, we detailed the project.

Last Friday, in a statement, Petrobras said that due to the economic context amid the COVID-19 pandemic, it decided to postpone the Integrated Project of the Whale Park by about a year, with the start of operations and first oil expected for 2024.
The oil company stated, however, that it will preserve the scope of the project that provides for the relocation of wells between platforms in operation in 2022.
Pre-salt: With 69.6 Thousand Barrels of Oil Per Day, Petrobras Breaks Historic Record of Oil Production at the Búzios Field
The Petrobras platforms installed (P-74, P-75, P-76, and P-77) in the well 7-BUZ-10-RJS of the Búzios Field, located in the area of the pre-salt Santos Basin, recorded a record in volume of produced oil and natural gas last month.
According to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), about 69.6 thousand barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day were produced, the largest volume recorded by a single well in the entire historical series of Petrobras.
