The new factory received an investment of R$ 60 million and hosted, last Wednesday, June 9, a delegation from the Pernambuco Workers’ Union (Sindmetal), led by president Henrique Gomes. The group that visited the facility was accompanied by Yazaki’s production and HR managers.

The Blau Pharmaceutical, one of the leading high-complexity hospital drug manufacturers in Latin America, has chosen the state of Pernambuco as the location for its industrial expansion project in Brazil. The area being assessed is situated in the Suape Complex – Cabo de Santo Agostinho and will have the capacity to serve both the internal and external markets.
The company estimates an investment of up to R$ 1 billion and the potential to generate more than 1,000 direct job vacancies. The announcement was made by the company’s president on June 09, during a meeting with Governor Paulo Câmara at the Palácio do Campo das Princesas.
According to Marcelo Hahn, “Blau has defined Pernambuco as the location for its new industrial and distribution headquarters, provided that the necessary state countermeasures are confirmed, in accordance with ongoing negotiations.”
