New line of Consul washers features specific cycles for beachwear, children’s uniforms, and even hammocks, with economical dosing technology that reduces detergent use by up to 70% and reuses up to 90 liters of water per cycle.
Consul, a brand of Whirlpool Brazil, has introduced a new line of washing machines developed with a focus on the real needs of Brazilian daily life, covering everything from removing sand from beachwear to washing bulky items like hammocks.
The available models have capacities ranging from 9 kg to 16 kg and enter the market with a series of new technologies in the line, aimed at water savings, reduced detergent consumption, quick washing, and differentiated performance on specific types of dirt common in daily life.
The smaller versions combine a compact external size with good internal space, along with Economical Dosing technology, which can reduce detergent use by up to 70% by automatically calculating the ideal amount of product according to the level of dirtiness of the clothes placed in the machine.

According to Consul, this percentage considers the difference between the amount indicated in the measuring cup for lightly soiled and heavily soiled clothes, preventing product waste and reducing families’ monthly costs with cleaning supplies over the continuous use of the equipment.
The compact models in the line also feature a water reuse system, reaching up to 40 liters in the smaller versions and 70 liters in the 14 kg model, values achieved when using the highest water level, and also offer a quick cycle that cleans lightly soiled clothes in just 29 minutes.

Higher capacity models and the innovative Hammock Cycle
The 15 kg and 16 kg models were specifically designed for larger families with more intensive washing routines, bringing additional features that enhance both energy efficiency and the ability to handle garments of various sizes and fabrics.
The 16 kg version, the largest in the line, features the Eco Mode, which reduces water consumption by up to 15% and energy consumption by up to 40% specifically in the Cleaning Cloths cycle, making this model an economically advantageous option for intensive residential use.
In this larger version, water reuse reaches 90 liters per cycle, also based on the maximum water level, and the quick cycle completes washing in just 18 minutes, ideal for clothes that need to be clean and dry in a short time during the day.
One of the most striking innovations of the line is the Net Cycle, available in the 16 kg model, specifically aimed at bulky and delicate items that normally cannot be washed in conventional machines without risking damage to the fabric or equipment.
This feature positions the Consul line in a different market segment, meeting a real demand from Brazilian consumers who frequently need to wash hammocks and other large items practically, without resorting to external laundries or manual labor.
Beach Cycle, Uniform Cycle, and performance against tough stains

The Beach Cycle is another highlight of the new line: specifically developed for swimwear, the feature promises to remove more than 80% of sand and residues present in bikinis, swimsuits, shorts, and towels used at beaches, pools, and aquatic clubs.
According to Consul, the test was conducted with 50 grams of sand applied to cotton towels and polyester shorts, using Extra Rinse and low water level, ensuring that the evaluation methodology reflected the real usage conditions by Brazilian consumers.
The Uniform Cycle was created to solve a daily problem for families with children: the removal of tough stains common in school uniforms and children’s clothes, such as modeling clay and grape juice, which normally resist conventional washes.
The best performance of this cycle occurs on stains with up to 24 hours of exposure, with washing done in cold water, which also contributes to the preservation of colors and fabrics, as well as reducing energy consumption compared to cycles that use higher temperatures.
The Lint Filter system retains up to 50% of the fabric residues generated during washing, with the best result obtained in the Daily cycle with the economy mode activated, while the More Dry function extracts a higher volume of water from the clothes at the end of the process.
Prices, availability, and positioning of the new line
Bertha Fernandes, Director of Communication and Brands at Whirlpool Brazil, highlighted that the line’s proposal is to deliver innovation connected to the reality of the national consumer, with products that facilitate the domestic routine and offer savings, practicality, and confidence at home.
According to the company, all models of the new line went through more than 100 quality tests before reaching the market, ensuring durability and performance compatible with the demands of intensive residential use over years of continuous operation.
The suggested prices vary according to capacity: the 9 kg model (CWM09AB) costs R$ 1,469, the 10 kg (CWB10BB) is R$ 1,649, while the 14 kg (CWN14AB), 15 kg (CWN15), and 16 kg (CWN16) versions start at R$ 1,769, R$ 2,049, and R$ 1,909, respectively.
The entire line is already available on the official Consul website and at major partner retailers throughout Brazil, with delivery to the main regions of the country and installment options according to the conditions of each store or e-commerce platform accredited by the brand.
