A Road in Guaratuba Is Expected to Be Built at a Cost of R$ 386 Million, Improvements in the Surroundings and Access to the Paraná Coastal Municipality.
The Guaratuba Bridge, located on the Paraná coast, will be designed and built by OEC – Engenharia e Construção through the Nova Ponte Consortium. The Department of Highways of Paraná (DER/PR) was responsible for announcing the auction of R$ 386.9 million.
The road will have four lanes with a width and a length of 1.2 km. The expansion of the PR-412 highway and the construction of a link from Tabaquara Road to the municipality of Matinhos is expected to be part of the project, in addition to the construction of the bridge itself.
Companies Involved Beyond OEC and Project Estimate
The total construction time is estimated to be 32 months, considering the time needed to obtain environmental licenses (two months), plan the project (six months), and execute the necessary services (24 months). The collaboration consists of three highly experienced engineering companies: OEC (50%), Carioca Christiani-Nielsen Engenharia S.A. (25%), and Goetze Lobato Engenharia S.A. (25%).
