According to what was announced by OneSubSea, the contract signed with Petrobras includes the distribution of 16 submerged Christmas trees (ANMs), destined for the Búzios 10 project, located in the pre-salt Santos Basin.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the ANMs will also be distributed in two phases for Mero, reinforcing more established partnerships.

Petrobras completes 1,300 hours of work and 15 km of subsea lines to connect the Búzios 90 well to the P-79 — the platform is ready to produce 180,000 barrels per day and is just awaiting ANP approval.
Besides the supply of equipment, OneSubSea will also be responsible for assisting the companies during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance processes, which are crucial in the Búzios 10 project.
For the equipment to be properly installed in the field, the company relies on the Drill Pipe Riser system, combined with installation tools and offshore service fronts.
All of this has been designed to ensure that the experience is quick and safe throughout all stages of the process. This will be guaranteed, even through the participation of OneSubSea alongside the partner companies.
Carlos Tadeu, the General Director of OneSubSea in Brazil, commented on the partnership with Petrobras and expressed high expectations: “The teams from Petrobras and OneSubsea work together on the development and execution of underwater equipment projects aiming to meet the oil company’s business plan as effectively as possible,” he stated.
According to the timeline developed, the first deliveries are expected to take place in 2025, still in the first quarter, if everything goes as planned.
Enauta and PRIO Will Receive Multiphase Pumps from the Company, Unlike Petrobras
While Petrobras signed the agreement with OneSubSea to receive submerged Christmas trees, Enauta and PRIO contracted the company for the supply of multiphase pumps.
In the case of Enauta, the project is dedicated to the Atlanta field, in the Santos Basin. Meanwhile, OneSubSea is developing the supply of other equipment in the region and is expected to install two ANMs in Atlanta by the end of 2023.
Regarding PRIO, the multiphase pump is designated for the Wahoo field, in the Campos Basin. It will be responsible for transporting oil over a longer distance, as the field was designed in a tieback model, meaning interconnected to the Frade field. The multiphase pump will be used to enhance the process.
Bruno Alves is the General Director of SLB in Brazil, the group of which OneSubSea is a part, and he also commented on the new contracts signed: “It has been a great team effort alongside independent companies to ensure the most innovative underwater technology to provide optimized solutions to the challenges we face,” he said.
Both Enauta and Petrobras will greatly benefit from the contracts signed with OneSubSea. It is a way to ensure the delivery of quality equipment and assistance during the following stages.
